‘Field of Dreams’ Baseball Field For Sale

Some realtors hope buyers will come to that Iowa baseball field from “Field of Dreams.”

The owners, Don and Becky Lansing, say they love the property — but they’re ready to retire. They’re asking $5.4 million.

Universal Studios built the ball field on the land for the 1989 movie.

The site is now a popular tourist destination.

Up for sale is the diamond, a two-bedroom house, six outbuildings that include a concession stand and a 193-acre parcel. The land includes the mystical cornfield where the ghosts of “Shoeless” Joe Jackson, “Moonlight” Graham and others emerge to play ball.

Former major league pitcher Ken Sanders is a real estate consultant now — and is overseeing the sale.

He says he’s already gotten several inquiries.
