Ten Worst Songs of the ‘80s

A lot of bad music came out of the 80s, but Rolling Stone readers think none was a bad as “We Built This City” by Starship. It tops the list of worst songs of the 80s.

Europe’s “The Final Countdown” is second on the list, followed by “Lady in Red,” “Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)” and “The Safety Dance.”

“Rock Me Amadeus” is sixth on the list.

“Don’t Worry Be Happy” ranks seventh, followed by Toni Basil’s “Mickey,” Taco’s “Puttin’ on the Ritz” and Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
